Reibling Farm was founded and operated by two veterinarians, dr. Tamás Reibling and a veterinarian with a diamond degree. dr. József Reibling.
In 2023, we launched what is probably Hungary's most modern laying hen farm, the Reibling Farm, which is certainly the most suitable for animal and environmental protection, as well as food safety aspects.
  • 15,000 Lohman Brown pullets were introduced to the farm, which we bought from the Schopper breeding organization in Austria, as the company guaranteed that the set pullets come from flocks free of all major infectious diseases and parasites.
  • During production, we strictly maintain this high animal health status, which the animals are grateful for, as they continuously produce a quantity above the production level expected for their age.

Referring To Animal Keeping

  • The egg hybrids are not placed in a closed, caged system, but in a so-called aviary system, where they can lay their eggs in one of the 246 freely accessible egg nests set up in two rows in the 1,000 m2 building.
  • The feeding and drinking systems are also freely accessible throughout the building. On the sides of the two rows, there is a huge open area available to the hens, where they can move freely, fly around, and satisfy their natural scratching and dust-bathing instincts.
  • The barn is continuously ventilated and cooled in summer.

Feeding

  • During feeding, we only use raw materials of our own production, which we produce in our own feed mixing plant, so continuous quality is guaranteed. We do not use artificial dyes, yield enhancers or antibiotics, and even the drinking water is filtered, purified and disinfected.
  • In addition to high levels of selenium and vitamin E, it also contains ingredients containing unsaturated fatty acids (flax, fish oil, full-fat soy), which have been proven to reduce blood cholesterol levels.

Egg management

  • Both the laying hens and the eggs are under constant veterinary control, as our founders are veterinarians who monitor the health status of the animals and the hygienic status of the eggs with laboratory tests. Our work is greatly facilitated by the fact that we treat the surface of the eggs with ozone disinfection in a unique way in the country, so they are guaranteed to be free of all chemicals.
  • All the paper boxes, cartons and rolls used for packing and transporting the eggs are made from recycled paper, and the farm's electricity supply is provided by the solar panel system installed on the buildings, thus protecting the environment.
  • Production and egg packaging are governed by HACCP and the strictest ISO 22000 production management and quality assurance systems.
